Rotary donates to Special Olympian

At a recent Rotary Club of Grand
Cayman lunch, donations of $1,150 were made to assist with medical expenses for
local Special Olympian Kevin Anglin.

Mr. Anglin is in Jamaica seeking
medical attention. He has had three surgeries so far and is expected to need
more treatment in the future.

Mr. Anglin has represented the
Cayman Islands in the Special Olympics five times. In 2008, when the Games
which took place in China, Mr. Anglin received a gold medal.

“Kevin has been, and continues to
be, a great ambassador for Cayman with his success at several world games, as
well as regional and international games,” said Eric Crutchley, chairman of
Special Olympics Cayman Islands. “He is a real team leader and very positive
and energetic, despite his disabilities.”
