Miss Cayman pageant gets corporate sponsors

This year’s Miss Cayman pageant has
secured a high-flying business entity as a corporate sponsor. Organisers
announced this week that Cayman Airways Ltd is the official pageant’s corporate
travel sponsor, partnering with the Miss Teen Committee for the 10th
consecutive year.

Another corporate sponsor for 2010
is dms Broadcasting, which is involved in the Miss Cayman promotional campaign.

“This year’s pageant – only two
weeks away – is expected to surpass expectations, and we look forward to
continued partnership with our corporate sponsors,” added committee chair Lynne
Bodden-Smatt.

This year’s sponsors and the
contestants they are sponsoring are: Brown’s Marine/Mobile Fuelling (Venessa
Ebanks); Tiki Beach/Osetra Bay (Mysti Bush); GMC General Contractors (Trudyann
Duncan); Beyond Basics Medical Day Spa (Shari Walton); and Island Air/Lobster
Pot (Cristin Alexander).

The Miss Cayman Islands pageant is
scheduled for Saturday, 25 September at the Lions Community Centre. Pageant
tickets are $25 for regular seating and $100 for VIP seating, which includes
wine, hors d’oeuvres and first-class seating.
