Amusing, cleaver Storycrafters for the whole family

Here’s your opportunity to go see
some folks who can really spin a tall tale — or a funny one, or a favourite

The Storycrafters, the popular
family of US-based storytellers, are being hosted by the Cayman National
Cultural Foundation at the Harquail Theatre at 12.30pm, Saturday, 25 September.
The free performance will feature many of the family’s much-loved performances
of classic tales and tales from around the world — with a twist on them — including
The Billy Goats Gruff, Two Peas In A Pod, The Grey Goose, The Cinderella Rap,
Gourd of Palm Wine, Beeping Slooty and more.

According to their website: Barry
Marshall and Jeri Burns, PhD, have been working together as The Storycrafters
since 1991, and have been storytellers for even longer than that. In addition
to being nationally renowned storytellers, they are award-winning radio show
hosts, recording artists, writers, adjunct college faculty and the parents of a
fiddle-playing, tap-dancing Latin scholar who accompanies them whenever his
busy schedule allows. Their creative work as storytellers is rivalled by their
creativity in making child-care arrangements for their busy lives as a ‘family
on the road’ all over the world.

The show will appeal to young and
old and is ideal for families.
