Marie-Beatrice Taylor has accepted
the duties as National Patron of the Girls Brigade Cayman Islands.
The Girls Brigade is a Christian,
international, inter-denominational organization, aims to help young women
through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find
enrichment of life.
The Girls Brigade consists of a
Company headed by a captain in each of the five districts of Grand Cayman.
Meetings are held in the church
hall of each district’s United Church of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Girls
ages 5 to 18 are invited to join.
