A consular officer from the US
Embassy in Kingston will be available to assist US citizens in the Cayman
Islands with passport, reports of birth, and notarial services on Thursday and
Friday, 14 and 15 October.
The US Consular Agency is currently
experiencing a reduction in services due to a vacancy in the consular agent
position. This visit is part of Embassy
Kingston’s ongoing commitment to maintain essential services at the Consular
Agency until that position is filled.
While routine requests and
services, such as voting assistance, registration and adult passport renewal
can be processed during normal business hours, other services, such as
passports for children, reports of birth and notarial services, can only be
accepted in the presence of a consular officer.
US citizens requiring assistance
may visit the US Consular Agency between 8am and noon on both days. The agency

information is not available through the Consular Agency. All visa services must continue to be handled
through the US Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica.
US citizens living and residing in
the Cayman Islands are advised to register their presence in the country
through the US Department of State’s automated online registration system,
US citizens may also register by
visiting the Consular Agency in Georgetown, Cayman Islands, during business
