PWC serves the kids again

The Tennis Federation of The Cayman
Islands is delighted to receive sponsorship from PwC for the second year in a
row.

The funds will support the
federation’s national junior series in which junior compete for national
ranking points and the series championship title.

Charles Bolland, Partner at PwC, is
a strong supporter of the programme. “Encouraging the youth of the Cayman Islands
is beneficial to the health and well being of our community as a whole,” he
said. “The national junior series provides a positive environment for our kids.
Staying active, healthy and competitive forms a strong base for success later
on down the road.”

As well as hosting six events over
the 2010/11 season, the series will be introducing elite squad training and
will support overseas events for top juniors to test their ability and
experience more challenging competition.
Jeremy Superfine, president of the tennis federation, said: “Since this
series has started we have seen a vast improvement and up take of tennis across
the island. The large number of children under ten now competing is
particularly exciting.

One day we hope to see the Cayman
Islands represented in tennis at the Olympic Games. With PwC’s continued support
we can to do it.”
