Letters to the Editor: Condolences on the passing of Barbados PM

It is with great sadness that I’ve
learned of the death of Prime Minister David Thompson. He was a good leader and
Barbados has lost an outstanding statesman. On behalf of the Government and the
people of the Cayman Islands, I offer my heartfelt condolences to the people of
Barbados and to Mr. Thompson’s family.

I was personally acquainted with
him and found him to be a man who was passionate about his country. He always
had the best interests of his people at heart. I’m sure that he will be greatly
missed not just in Barbados but throughout the region. May God bless the people
of Barbados and Mr. Thompson’s family as they mourn his untimely passing.

  1. Why does CUC not show the cost per KwH on their bills? My calculations show a total cost of 24 cents per KwH in July 09 compared to 27.7 cents per KwH in July 10.
Why do the bills not show a comparison with cost / consumption this year compared to the previous year?

Both of the above would be easy to implement and are standard features on USA and UK power bills.
