Barclays supports charities

 

As part of their commitment to the local community,
Barclays Wealth in the Cayman Islands is giving donations totalling over
CI$37,000, to various charitable organizations and school needs this year.

Donations are being given to the CAYS Foundation for
their Residents Work Training Programme; the National Council for Voluntary
Organisations for the Nadine Andreas Residential Foster Home; the Department of
Children and Family Services to support their After-School Programme; North
Side Primary School PTA for their reading programme; the First Baptist
Christian School PTF for physical education equipment; the Cayman Islands
Crisis Centre for the purchase of computer equipment; and The Pines Retirement
Home for essential equipment. 

Lisa Daniels, a member of the Barclays Wealth Cayman
charitable committee, said, “The staff at Barclays are delighted that our
company is prepared to give so generously to the local community, and in
addition to the financial donations, we try and make a difference in the
community by active participation.”
