The event. at Camana Bay at 6pm, will mark the launch of Mr. Ebanks’ new foundation, From the Art.

“It has been difficult for me to watch the devastation in Japan, and I feel that this is something I can do to help with the recovery efforts,” said Mr. Ebanks.

The guests will have an opportunity to bid on all pieces on display that evening.

Guests will enjoy appetisers, champagne, music and dancing, and will have the opportunity to win prizes donated by local merchants.

The aim of the new foundation will be to give back to the community and those in need, locally and overseas.

  1. A laudable project: and I’m not being mean, but must there be champagne and expensive bits and pieces? The Japanese would surely be happy to learn that the benefit to them was increased by a little less expenditure on the event?
