Caymanian Renee Caudeiron is now an associate with leading law firm Mourant Ozannes, having been admitted to the Bar in the Cayman Islands on 27 May, 2011.

Ms. Caudeiron joined the firm last year from the commercial litigation practice at Cayman firm Ritch and Conolly and after having completed a number of mini-pupillages at London barristers chambers Hardwicke Building, 4 Pump Court and 23 Essex Street Chambers.

She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2008 and studied for a law degree at Queen Mary, University of London and for the Diploma in Professional Legal Skills at the Inns of Court School of Law. Ms. Caudeiron is a member of The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. On being sworn in, she said “I am proud to be admitted to the Bar of the Cayman Islands. It is an honour to join such a noble profession and I’m really looking forward to a career as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands.”

Neal Lomax, Mourant Ozannes’ Cayman Islands Managing Partner, added: “We are delighted to have been able to give Renee the opportunity to complete her articles of clerkship with us. She deserves great credit for the diligence and perseverance that she has shown. I hope the training that she has received during her time with Mourant Ozannes and Ritch and Conolly will provide a good foundation for her future career.”
