During the last academic year, the St. Ignatius Sixth Form Fundraising Committee organized several school events to raise money for charities.
These events included a whole school ‘Pretty in Pink’ Fashion Show and a Civvy Day to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Awareness.
In December, they hosted a ‘Winter Wonderland’ for the primary school students where they made Christmas decorations, cookies, and sat on Santa’s lap for a picture with the processed of this event going towards helping the variety of needs for the Francis Bodden Home for Girls.
Money was also raised for a Bogota, Colombia Orphanage, Oxfam, Educate Girls and Smile Train which are overseas charities that help other countries.
