Nine young people were given the chance to test the heat in The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman’s kitchen as they participated in a culinary competition summer camp recently.
During the week-long camp, the participants were given a couple mystery ingredients each day, such as Oreo cookies and asparagus. They would then have to incorporate the mystery ingredients into each of their dishes for that day.
The winners of the summer camp competition were Imami Abdul-Jabbar and Chelsea Pierson of Team Two. They will be participating in the next Cayman Cookout as sous chefs.
