Can you invest in Crimestoppers? This must be about the safest 50,000 on the island! It seems to be safer than the dollars in banks.
I think monetary reward is definitely an excellent incentive that should motivate informers to step forward and provide vital information that will lead to arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of these heinous crimes. It certainly defies common sense that no one but no one knows who these thugs are? If it takes reward money to get criminals off the street and reduce the incidents their activity, then by all means lets do it!!! On the other hand, law enforcement should do all possible to protect the identity of those providing the information to prevent reprisal and retribution.
