Tuesday September 27th, 2011 marks the 95th birthday of one of the original North Sound pioneers, Captain Marvin Ebanks. This year also marks the 60th year of operation of Capt. Marvin’s Watersports.
Since he began taking passengers out on Grand Cayman’s North Sound in a borrowed sailboat in 1951, Capt. Marvin has built a reputation for excellence and reliability. Today Capt. Marvin’s is one of the leading charter boat operators in Grand Cayman, and boats visit Stingray City daily.
In September 2000 the family business moved to the second generation of ownership through his son and his nephew.
They said that their most valuable asset was their first-rate staff and crew who take pleasure in giving guests the best possible experience while in the Cayman Islands.
