The LIME 800 metres sea swim celebrates its 25th anniversary on Saturday so organisers hope for a larger turn out than usual.
There hasn’t been an open water sea swim for a while and this is the perfect event for those preparing for the Flowers One Mile swim on 9 June.
The LIME 800m starts at Governor’s Beach and ends at Public Beach. Registration runs from 3pm-3:45pm. Registration for Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association members is children $10, adults-$15 and for non-CIASA members it is children $15 and adults-$20.
The registration fee includes a swim cap, t-shirt, refreshments of water and Gatorade and pizza, medals and trophies for the first three in each age group. The race starts at 4pm.
