The Cayman National Tennis Tens had another highly competitive round last week.
On a scorching day at the courts at the Ritz Carlton, coach Thomas Neuert put the children through their paces.
First came the skills section where points or stars can still be won followed by actual match play. In the seven and eight-year-old division Lauren Fullerton and Gabriel Todd won the girls and boys title respectively.
Fullerton was pushed hard though by new faces for Cayman National tennis tens, Charlize Keens and Aaliyah McCoy who came second and third respectively as after the skills section it was neck and neck.
Todd also pulled away in the match play portion from nearest contenders Alfie Beach, Alex Grover and Phillip Whan-Tong.
In the older age group section Federica Santi and Vanessa Fullerton emerged top of the girls and Dion Loutas and Gabriel Todd top of the boys.
The next Cayman National Tennis Tens event is on 16 June at the Ritz-Carlton.
