Visiting Olympians and top athletes will be at the special Flowers Sea Swim gala dinner on Thursday, 7 June.
The bash at Luca Restaurant starts at 6pm and features canapes and prosecco then a three-course wine dinner.
Stacey VanDevelde of Feed our Future says that the charity was honoured to be the selected one for the 20th anniversary of the swim, which she describes as an internationally-recognised and sought-out event of great success.
“The decision to appoint Feed our Future as the receiving charity for this year provides our foundation a huge boost in many ways. Firstly for the Flowers family, who are highly regarded locally and internationally for their business acumen, integrity and generosity to appoint Feed Our Future speaks volumes for our foundation and our cause.
“The high profile nature of the event provides a significant boost of awareness to our foundation and our work towards a hunger free Cayman islands for our children. The popularity and community support that the swim draws mean that not only do we have the support of the Flowers family but also of the wider Cayman Islands community who come out in large numbers to support the event, even as non swimmers,” says Stacey.
Tickets for the gala dinner cost $100 and include valet parking.
