The opportunity has arisen for Caymanian students to apply for paid summer employment within government departments and agencies.
Cayman Islands Premier McKeeva Bush said the term of employment is one-month and interns may be employed beginning 9 July.
“Our government is delighted to be able to again assist students with employment over the summer and, in return we will receive service from the future leaders of our Islands,” the premier said. The programme is for students studying locally or overseas, those who are on government scholarship, as well as students in Year 10 and above.
The wages offered are $250 per week. The deadline to submit applications is 8 June.
