About a week after the Cayman Islands government budget received final approval from the United Kingdom, the man who oversees the British Territories in the Caribbean and the Atlantic is out of his post in the UK Coalition government.
Overseas Territories Minister Henry Bellingham left that post during UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s Cabinet reshuffle this week.
Mr. Bellingham will be replaced by Conservative MP for Boston and Skegness in Lincolnshire Mark Simmonds.
The outgoing OT minister told his regional newspaper, The Eastern Daily Press, that he would be able to spend more time in his district fighting against a proposed waste incinerator there.
According to a list provided by Governor Duncan Taylor’s office, Mr. Bellingham was not reassigned to a ministerial post within the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
His replacement, Mr. Simmonds, has served in his Lincolnshire district since 2001, according to a biography on his website.

Probably no connection at all but I was scheduled to meet him next Tuesday (11 Sept) to discuss Operation Tempura/Cealt, the Polaine/Bridger complaint and the interference in Dan Duguay’s 2009 audit.
UK wants a more hands on approach?
This means they are enshrining themselves into our constitution and reducing our powers; to put it simple. This is some sort of direct rule but very subtile in deed! They are concerned about us as their competitors in the financial industry. they will make their colonies go so far and no further. Its the UK slave master mentality!
Stop jumping to conclusions, read the fine print!
