With occupation anticipated in December, the Appleby Centre is already proving to be a ‘tour de force’, dominating the George Town skyline as the capital’s tallest commercial building. The six-story tower boasts a penthouse boardroom and conference suite with impressive 360-degree views of the George Town harbour and surrounding buildings.
Designed by Rutkowski Baxter Haughton, built and expertly project managed by Arch and Godfrey, from planning through construction to meet all the relevant certifications necessary for full occupancy in December 2012.
The naturally elevated site allows for an impressive 14 ft ground floor slab elevation above mean sea level. The tower has a poured and steel reinforced concrete superstructure with impact rated windows.
The air conditioning is provided by efficient chiller units, safely placed on top of the building and a generator housed over 20 ft above sea level provides all three buildings with full back-up power.
The Appleby Centre offers the most generous parking ratio in George Town, and is centrally located adjacent to the Courts.
The fifth floor of the tower is now available for lease. The floor plate is 5,500sft and will be offered to a tenant fully fitted. The fifth floor tenant will also have access to the sixth floor boardroom and conference facilities. Please call for details.
