For weeks, if not months, fans of Britain’s most charismatic secret agent have been eagerly anticipating the return of Agent 007 to the silver screen. This weekend, a limited number of lucky guests in Cayman will enjoy not only a private screening of the new movie Skyfall, but an entire evening of Bond-worthy glamour and sophistication.
It begins at 4pm sharp on Saturday, 10 November and there’s guaranteed to be champagne, chauffeured transport, a four-course dinner and, of course, the movie everyone is talking about.
Taking their cue from Her Majesty’s most refined spy, who was first introduced to Bollinger champagne in Diamonds are Forever in 1971, and has continued to quaff it in numerous films since then, LUCA restaurant is hosting a very special Bollinger Skyfall dinner.
Guests will be able to not only dress up as their favourite Bond character – or at least in the finest casino attire – but they will also be able to indulge in this very special champagne that was chosen as befitting of our sophisticated hero’s impeccable taste and class.
Guests of the Bollinger Skyfall Dinner will arrive promptly at LUCA where a Bollinger champagne reception will be held and hors d’oeuvres handed around. Should they prefer, of course, they can order a martini – shaken, not stirred.
Following a glass or two of fizz, they will be transported – in appropriate style – to Hollywood Theatres for a private screening of Skyfall. Will Mr. Bond be enjoying his usual bubbly tipple in Skyfall? That remains to be seen …
Following the movie, guests will then be returned to LUCA once again where a sumptuous four-course dinner will await. Dinner will be accompanied by – what else? – bottomless Bollinger Champagne, Goldeneye Pinot Noir and Chateau Lamothe Cuvee Valentine. Needless to say, gentlemen can round off a very cool and classy evening with a few puffs on a big, flash cigar.
