Camana Bay Christmas Give Focus on Feed our Future

This holiday season, Mail Boxes Etc. launches its inaugural “Letters to Santa for Charity” campaign to benefit Feed our Future, a local not-for-profit association whose primary mission is to solve childhood hunger and support intellectual nourishment in the Cayman Islands through the funding of nutritionally balanced lunches for children in need in Cayman’s schools.

Every day across the Cayman Islands, teachers see children who come to school hungry because they aren’t getting enough to eat at home. For many children, school meals are the only solid meal they will receive the entire day. Feed our Future ensures identified at risk schoolchildren are physically nourished and equipped to learn.

Children and adults alike are encouraged to write a letter to Santa at home or at school – or take advantage of Mail Boxes Etc.’s free letter-writing station – and drop it into the bright red mailbox outside the store, on the corner of Forum Lane and Market Street. Don’t forget to purchase a special North Pole Stamp from Mail Boxes Etc. for CI$1 to ensure your letter reaches Santa Claus and his busy elves well in advance of Christmas morning! All proceeds from the sale of the special stamps will go toward Feed our Future’s School Meal Programme.

Embrace the spirit of the season and support Feed our Future and Mail Boxes Etc. in their efforts to ensure every child in our community receives the meals they need to grow and learn and join the effort toward a hunger free Cayman Islands. CI$6 provides one school lunch to a child in need. CI$1,000 provides a school lunch to a child in need for one full school year.
