Cheer for the season

Every morning we should each count our many blessings and name them one by one.

We should start the day with an attitude of gratitude and remember to live every moment in the present not waiting on tomorrow, not worrying about next month and not putting it off until next year. Believe it now, be it now and do it now.

I want to say thank you to all of you who read this column and stop me in person to tell me what the piece meant to you. I appreciate all of you and your kind words. Often I feel like putting down this “pen” and going back to my normal life and then after seeing and hearing from you I realise that, in fact, this is normal life to me.

Inspiring, encouraging and trying in some small way to make a difference in someone’s life with a positive word that may be the exact thing that was needed to cheer someone’s day or help them in some way.

May you and yours have a blessed and wonderful holiday season from me and mine. Stay safe this season and remember to love everyone that you have in your life as much as you possibly can because time is precious and promised to no one.

Happy Holidays.

And tell me how your week is going at
