Mentoring Cayman connects youth

Launched in 2002, Mentoring Cayman is a youth development initiative that has assisted more than 500 high achieving motivated high school students to become the next generation of business and community leaders. The programme is coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce with financial support provided by the Ministry of Youth.

The 2013 programme kicked off in December with an introduction session where students and their parents met the mentors for the first time. Mentoring Cayman consists of one workplace visit each month for seven months. Governor Duncan Taylor is the patron for the programme and will host a closing reception at Government House in June.
