Lois Kellyman

Main Story: Focused approach to local unemployment 

Lois Kellyman has over 20 years’ experience in the field of human resources, training and development.

She has worked in both the public and private sectors and with small, medium and large businesses in a number of industries including health services, retail, finance, telecommunications and aviation. Lois has also served for a number of years as a social worker within the community and the Health Services.

Lois has developed expertise in a variety of HR functions having worked for companies in the Cayman Islands and in other jurisdictions in the Caribbean and the United States and with her counterparts in Europe. Lois has provided HR consultancy services to public and private sector businesses and has also filled the role of adjunct trainer for the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce.

Lois has served on the Labour Tribunal, the Labour Appeals Tribunal, the Business Staffing Plan Board, the Planning Appeals Tribunal and the Graduate Advisory Board for the International College of the Cayman Islands.

She holds a bachelor of science degree in social work and a masters degree in human resources and is a founding member and the first president of the Cayman Islands Society for Human Resources Professionals.
