The Cancer Society is inviting cancer survivors to be included in its Cancer Survivors Wall, which will be unveiled at the Cayman Islands Hospital this week.
Survivors are being asked to bring along to the Friday, 26 April, wall unveiling, a portrait or headshot of themselves or choose a photograph of themselves taken at the Survivors’ Dinners in 2011 or 2012.
They can pick up a form to participate at the Cancer Society, next door to the hospital, during the week, or email [email protected] to be sent a copy of the form.
The Cayman cottage-style cancer survivors wall frame is already in place at the hospital entrance and is awaiting the images of the Islands’ many cancer survivors.
“This wall will be a symbol of hope and inspiration to our community,” said Jennifer Weber of the Cancer Society.
The official unveiling will take place between 5.30pm and 6.30pm Friday.
