The queen is back

Cayman’s only drag queen, Miss Delicious, will be returning to the spotlight in all her made-up, fashion-forward, outrageous glory, for one night only on Saturday, 3 August.

Entertainment professional Nolly Brown (AKA Noel Smith) will be gracing the stage at Margaritaville as Miss Delicious for an evening of adult-only singing, dancing and all round comedy.

Miss Delicious has been perusing local fashion and beauty stores over the past few weeks to ensure she wows her audiences with a stunning wardrobe and flawless make-up.

It’s a one-woman show, and she’ll be performing a number of old-time hits, from music icons like Diana Ross, along with plenty of audience interaction and lots of laughs.

She’s bolder and badder than ever, so if you’re looking for some entertainment that is out of the ordinary, this is the one show you won’t want to miss.

Miss Delicious has made a number of appearances in Cayman in the past, and although her alter ego, Nolly Brown, was initially concerned at the reception she would get in a community as conservative as Cayman, he was pleasantly surprised by the reaction.

“I decided to give it a shot anyway, and there was a really great reaction to it,” he says. “Now she’s back by popular demand.”

Nolly Brown first became involved with the drag queen scene when he lived in the UK. While running a couple of pubs there, he joined the drag circuit and had a great time doing it.

Passionate about entertainment, Nolly Brown Entertainment regularly hosts karaoke nights and organises a variety of talent shows for Cayman’s youth throughout the year.

Miss Delicious is a one-off comedy night, and it’s for mature audiences only.

Drinks and food specials will be offered throughout the night and the show begins at 7pm.
