Run raises money for halfway home

ASi Cayman raised $1,000 for the Hope for Today Foundation in its recent 5K run and walk.

ASi-Cayman (Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries), a not-for-profit organization, hosted the run on Sept. 22 to help out the foundation’s halfway homes that currently house seven male and two female residents.

“We believe that Hope for Today halfway residents, by committing to being there, are demonstrating their quest in seeking a better way of life and a worthwhile future,” said ASi chairman Annie K. Price. “With the support of the community, they can know that we are all behind them in encouraging them to push forward with determination, courage and strength to once again enjoy family life and become productive members of this society.”
