Open arms for Lighthouse school

The Lighthouse School is sporting a new sign to acknowledge the support over the years of the Rotaract Blue Open Arms Program.

In the last six years, Rotaract Blue has donated about $5,000 to the school.

According to Rotaract Blue, the Open Arms Program promotes non-discrimination for disabled persons and aims to help integrate those living with disabilities into the community. It also provides support to those who care for them.

Other beneficiaries of the program include Maples House, Sunrise Adult Learning Centre and Special Needs Foundation of the Cayman Islands.
