The Cayman Islands Athletic Association has sent a track team to Trinidad to compete at the Caribbean Union of Teachers meet this weekend.
Competition is at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain. The Under-15 athletes competing on Friday and Saturday are Daujaughn Murray (800 meters), Javon Watler (high jump, long jump), Kashief Dawkins (200m,400m), Valeska Bennett (long jump) and Aijah Lewis (high jump,200m).
The U-13 team comprises of Craig Bennett (100m,200m), Ashantae Graham (100m,long jump,4x100m), Tori Ann Gonez (4x100m), Jaden Francis (200m,4x100m), Monique Gordon (4x100m).
Brianna Smith is the sole U-11 athlete and she competes in the long jump and 100m.
Barbara Wilson is the manager and Ato Stephens the coach.
