The Cayman Islands will no longer require travel visas for citizens of Costa Rica and Croatia who are traveling here.
The order lifting the visa requirement for the eastern European and Central American countries was approved by Cabinet on Sept. 23.
Citizens of more than 50 non-Commonwealth countries are now allowed to travel to Cayman without first obtaining a visa.
Individuals requiring a visa for entry into or transit through the Cayman Islands must apply to the nearest British Embassy or consulate that has a visa section.
Generally, single-entry visas are valid for three months, but longer term, multiple-entry visas can be obtained for periods of one to three years.
