Upper Crust becomes Lola Bistro

It’s all change at what was Upper Crust, Camana Bay. The popular eatery is now called Lola Bistro and has been re-conceived with the addition of a full bar and dinner menu.

“We kept hearing from our customers that they would love the chance to dine with us for dinner as well as breakfast and lunch,” owner Nicola de Lima Maloir said. “We took the opportunity to give our customers what they were asking for, putting in a full bar and changing the menu to reflect the new chic and trendy bistro atmosphere we have worked to create with Lola.”

The new purse-friendly dinner menu offers a selection of classic bistro dishes, including oven-baked escargot, fondue Parmesan, duck a l’orange, herb crusted grouper, homemade truffled boudin blanc (a traditional French sausage made with chicken and pork and flavored with milk and truffles with a touch of Brandy), as well as a selection of classic sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, gourmet pastas, Certified Angus Beef steaks, and desserts.

The bar offers a selection of handcrafted cocktails, draft beers and an extensive wine list. In addition, an oyster bar will be on offer shortly.

“We have heard nothing but rave reviews about how fabulous the new changes look,” de Lima Maloir said. “The new layout, lighting and bar has achieved a cozy and intimate atmosphere that adds to the dining experience.”

De Lima Maloir added that the bistro will appeal to anyone who appreciates great food and a fabulous atmosphere.

“A bonus is the beautiful people-watching at Camana Bay, thanks to our location on The Paseo.”

The bistro is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. Visit lolabistro.ky.
