C&W Communications has named Victor Salgado as managing director of Flow Cayman Islands.
Mr. Salgado has occupied several leadership positions in the telecommunications industry in the past 20 years with Ericsson, Digicel and C&W, which he joined as chief technology officer-LIME in 2013.
Following C&W’s merger with Columbus in April 2015, Mr. Salgado moved into the role of senior vice president-Technology, with responsibility for network development and operations. He was responsible for the implementation and operation of mobile, broadband, TV and fixed telephony networks in the consumer markets for the C&W Group, a press release states.
He also led the rollout of the 4G LTE mobile network in the Cayman Islands.
John Reid, chief executive officer of C&W Communications, said, “Since May, Victor has been managing two significant portfolios for the Company: SVP Technology for C&W, and acting managing director for the Cayman Islands operations.
