Pan in de City opens Grand Cayman’s Pirates Week

The sounds of steel pan music filled the streets once again in Grand Cayman Thursday night for the opening of Pirate Week with the Pan in de City showcase.

  1. I have to believe that all dancers and the pan kids did an excellent job/performance . Just ask yourself about the first job you did , were you as comfortable and confident the first time or after getting more experienced and confidence. Maybe they were too focused and concentrated on excellence to smile .

    • Nice performances, I agree. But this kind of music is supposed to cheer up and entertain, but they don’t seem to be enjoying it. It is a hard work, but not a chore. Maybe they are too focused like you said. With more practice they should be able to relax and have fun performing.
