BlackBeard’s Trading Company has eight stores in Cayman under the brand names BlackBeard’s and Big Daddy’s. Both will soon operate under the same name and new logo.
“It was time to give our beloved pirate a makeover and reinvigorate our stores,” Matthew Bishop, Cayman Distributors CEO, said in a press release. “The old black and red of BlackBeard’s and Big Daddy’s are being retired and we’re excited to introduce fresh colours that represent our islands alongside a modern logo – a new look that will brighten up our stores without compromising our commitment to delivering quality at a reasonable price.”
The company said its new retail location in Camana Bay, which will be its flagship store, will be located next door to the recently opened Foster’s supermarket.
“We know that our customers want a large selection of products to suit their taste and budget. We are also aware that a stop into our stores is often preparation for a variety of celebrations,” said Suzi Culbert, Blackbeard’s head of brand and culture said.
BlackBeard’s has begun rebranding the exteriors of their stores and customers will see the changes rolled out to other areas of the business over the coming weeks and months.
