Police on Sunday arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of criminal trespass in East End.
According to police, shortly before 1am, RCIPS officers on patrol came upon a vehicle parked “in a suspicious manner” at an address on Sea View Road.
When the officers approached the vehicle, one of the occupants appeared to attempt to flee.
The officers subsequently detained the pair on suspicion of criminal trespass.
Police searched the area and found a number of items, including gloves, nearby. They also searched the vehicle and recovered ganja and other items.
The 26-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, both of North Side, were arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass, going equipped for stealing, and possession and consumption of ganja.
They remained in custody Monday evening as investigations continued, police said.
