Deown (deaown) – Noun – From Cayman Brac 1. The word ‘down’ pronounced with a Cayman Brac accent. 2. The opposite of up. 3. The lower portion of anything. E.g. “I cyah undastand why dem Wess Bayas always be sayin’ dey goin’ up ta George Town n’ deown Wess Bay. Dey doo’n hawe a compass ah wah?”
