Andrew Bolton has joined the board of Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited as a director, which was effective 26 Jan., following approval of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
Jana Schreuder, Butterfield board member and non-executive chair of the board of Butterfield Cayman, said in a press release: “Andrew is an experienced professional who brings a wealth of relevant knowledge. His insight and perspectives will be a welcome addition and we look forward to his contributions as we continue to build our business and deliver for clients in Cayman.”
Bolton was a Cayman Islands partner and global practice group head for litigation and insolvency at international law firm Appleby, where he was also a member of the firm’s global management board, until his retirement from full-time practice in 2019.
He currently serves as a board member of the Cayman Attorneys Regulation Authority.
