Visit your district Public Library to compete in the Easter Raffle!

The Cayman Islands Public Library Service (CIPL) announces the start of its Easter Raffle.

The raffle, which will take place at all Public Library locations (Bodden Town, Cayman Brac, East End, George Town, North Side, and West Bay) from now until 4 April, is open to persons who sign themselves or another individual up for membership at one of the six public libraries and patrons that borrow at least five books at a time, subject to the discretion of the Libraries Management team.

Participants can win various prizes, including laptops and computer tablets.  A drawing will occur on Wednesday, 5 April 2023 at all six Libraries.

CIPL Acting Director Mr. Kevin Goring spoke about the raffle.

“The CIPL “Easter Raffle” will be the perfect opportunity for members of the community to connect or reconnect with the Public Library in their district, foster education through literacy, create healthy communities, support their public spaces and be supported by your public spaces,” said Mr. Goring.

The Acting Director also noted that the Library is a staunch advocate of lifelong learning and encouraged the community to visit their nearest Public Library to participate in the Easter Raffle for a chance to win a prize, sign up for membership, renew membership, borrow Library materials, explore digital resources, learn about library programmes, and to enquire into and utilise both the facilities and services offered.

For more information about the Easter Raffle, please call or visit the library in your district, or contact the George Town Public Library by telephone at 949-5159 or email at [email protected].
