Important Precautions for Hurricane Beryl

As you may be aware, Hurricane Beryl is approaching our area and is predicted to make its landfall on Thursday, July 4th. Although it is still too early to determine the storm’s exact strength and path, we want to ensure that you are well-prepared and informed during this time.

Precautions and Updates

 

1.      For Medical Emergencies During Beryl:

International Medical Group will not be open
during the storm. If you or a loved one is experiencing a medical emergency
during the storm, please call 911.

 

2.      Medication and Prescriptions:

If you require prescription refills, please
submit your requests by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2nd. We will provide only two weeks of medication on an emergency basis.

 

3. Clinic Hours and Emergency Services:

The clinic will remain open until 2pm on Wednesday. June 3rd.

We will then close and remain closed through Thursday, July 4th.

Regular appointments will resume following the government issued “all-clear”.

 

General Tips!

Ensure you have a sufficient supply of any necessary medications.

Secure all important documents, including health records in a water-safe method.

Prepare an emergency kit
with essentials such as water, food, and first aid supplies for a few days,
should shipments not be available to the island.

Follow any advisories and instructions from local authorities.
