The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman (RCGC) is delighted to unveil the new Music Wall built by them for Miss Nadine’s Preschool and Jack & Jill Nursery, both operated by the NCVO (National Children Voluntary Organisation).
Christian Victory, RCGC President 2024/25 says, “September is Basic Education and Literacy Month for Rotary, and that is one of Rotary’s seven areas of focus. Education and Literacy can mean many different things depending on your age and ability, and a Music Wall seemed to be a perfect way to encourage the younger ones to express themselves and explore their musical potential.”
Commenting, Pre-School Director Ms. Delores Thompson says, “the Music Wall provided by the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman will undoubtedly provide an immense amount of fun and joy for our children.”
Past President Joey Hew of RCGC, and the instigator of the project, says “”THE MAGIC OF ROTARY is key in supporting basic education and literacy in our community”.
The construction of the Music Wall has been completed, and it will be unveiled on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 9:00 am.
