Eden Centre has reached a significant milestone, with construction now officially underway at the Walkers Road site in George Town.

Following the announcement of the mixed-use development earlier this year, ground has now been broken, marking a major step forward as the project moves from planning into active build.
The start of construction reflects both the progress behind the scenes and the strong response the development has received since its launch.
From the outset, Eden Centre has generated great interest and support from the local community, including Caymanian business owners who have expressed interest in leasing commercial units within the development. That early engagement has helped shape the next phase of the project as work begins on site.
“This is an exciting milestone for Eden Centre,” said Paul Dibb, Eden Centre project lead. “Breaking ground brings us closer to delivering a development that we believe will be a valuable addition to George Town. We’re pleased to be working alongside quality local partners, including Bould Consulting Ltd, MJM Design Studio, whose design work has helped define the vision for the site, AMR Consulting Engineers, Corporate Electric and McAlpine as our construction company.”
Located along Walkers Road, Eden Centre is designed to offer a well-balanced mix of commercial spaces, supporting a range of businesses while contributing to the continued growth of the surrounding area.
As construction progresses, the development team remains in active discussions with prospective tenants interested in becoming part of the project.

Planning ahead with Eden Centre Self-Storage
Eden Centre will also feature a purpose-built self-storage facility, designed to support both personal and business storage needs, with a strong focus on security, durability and flexibility.
Eden Centre Self-Storage will offer a range of unit sizes within a climate-controlled, reinforced concrete, hurricane-rated structure, built to modern standards, with 24/7 security and access.
Designed with earthquake resistance and a poured concrete slab elevated 9’6” above sea level, the facility provides a practical, resilient storage solution as part of the wider development.
Customers can now sign up for pre-opening storage pricing, allowing them to plan ahead and secure future space at preferential rates.
As work continues on site, Eden Centre is steadily moving towards its anticipated opening in 2027, supported by local expertise and strong community interest.
