A new chapter is under way for the Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps, a long-standing volunteer-driven association, as newly appointed leadership introduces a refreshed vision focused on community engagement and expanded volunteer opportunities.

Building on over 45 years of service, the organisation says it is moving forward with renewed energy and a continued commitment to strengthening connections across the Cayman community while continuing its support for both the youth and seniors.

Karen Bomford, director of the Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps, said, “We’re extremely proud of the foundation that’s been built and the impact the Pink Ladies have had in Cayman so far. We want to build on that legacy with fresh ideas, increased community engagement and a clear focus on impact.”

She added, “This is about creating more opportunities for people to get involved and make a difference. We want to ensure that everyone feels they have a place in what we are building. Our volunteers are the driving force behind everything we do.”

The Pink Ladies organisation says it is focusing on expanding volunteer opportunities in the community through new programmes that engage with the youth and elderly, as well as strengthening partnerships with other local charities.

The leadership team is inviting individuals, businesses and community partners to be part of this next chapter.

Bomford said, “Whether you’re looking to volunteer your time, partner with us or simply learn more – the Pink Ladies would love to hear from you.”
