Sprint king Usain Bolt is backing Mo Farah to do something special at London 2012.
Farah, 28, won world 5,000 metres gold — days after taking silver the 10,000m in South Korea this summer. And Jamaican Bolt said: “My hot tip for next year would be Mo Farah, based on what he did at the World Championships.
“The long-distance races are extremely competitive but he was able to win against the best Kenyan and Ethiopian talent.”
Bolt is aiming to do something special at the London Games. The fastest man in the world said: “I want to do wild things at this Olympics – that’s my focus.
“I want, at the end of the Games, for people to sit down and say, ‘Did that really happen?’”
Nothing has yet been confirmed but Bolt, 25, wants to at least defend his Olympic titles in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m – all of which are events where he also holds the world record.
