We do not want any type of deal with China in Cayman. We have a lot of the world’s best builders right here in the west; USA, Canada and many more countries that can get the job done right.
Why must we make our cruise ship port be placed in the hands of China? I see very little Chinese tourists coming here spending a lot of cash with us. If they do come, they are American Chinese with the good old USA dollar to spend.
Our people, in the year 2012, need to move away from this two party system. As a matter of fact, we need to end the two party system and put in place one whole party system for the good of all the people and this country.
If not, we will see bloodshed on the streets of Cayman in the time of elections like Jamaica. Already, members of the elected government are telling people in their party not to wear certain colours. This is pure madness. The whole long and short of it is Caymanians, you are now in a divided state. This is how each government for the last 20 years has helped to make you in order for them to do what they want. That is why they do not really want us to try and get back to where we belong and that is united.
Our leaders should listen to our people: No Chinese dock builders here in Cayman. Put that dock in Red Bay. If you had studied properly in school and listened to your teachers you would not be making such bad mistakes.
It is so very sad to know after all these years of plenty we are still talking about where to build the cruise ship dock and Bodden Town boat dock too.
So let us all get behind a plan that is right for our Island’s future and stand with an idea that is the proper one for the Cayman Islands’ future. Say no to the Chinese deal and yes to the Cayman investors and the port deal in Red Bay.
I have checked all the angles of both deals and we do not want to deal with China on this. Keep our money and our work close to home.

The dock must stay in George Town, the capital. To date the economy in Goerge Town is being destroyed and pushed to the West Bay Road to enrich Ken Dart’s Caymana Bay vulture corporation that is sucking dry small businesses in Cayman and they have not the guts to say anything. This is so stupid. The merchants that have built the shops in town to accommodate cruise ship passengers must be respected and supported, as it is their money that remains in the country. Dart bought out Island companies Ah! you know what that means, Island Companies was the most successful business in town that is where cruse ship passengers shopped. So This man is a SHARK and he wants everything.Cayman needs to unite and put this man in his place and tell him to leave as we were better off before he came here to adopt the government and tell them what to do while they neglect their own Caymanian voters to please Dart and Dart alone. Dart needs to leave Cayman.There’s no free lunch, the borrower is SLAVE TO THE LENDER! so the good book says.
