The fourth day of the CUC Primary Football League Play-offs on Saturday at the TE McField Annex saw four teams in each division securing a berth in the semi-finals.
In the Under 9 Consolation Cup, George Town Primary secured the number one seed following a 2-2 draw with Prospect Primary. Red Bay Primary defeated Cayman International School 2-0 to get the number two ranking with the losing team grabbing the number three slot and Triple C got the number four seed with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Truth For Youth.
In the semis on Saturday, George Town Primary will face Triple C and Red Bay Primary will again play Cayman International School.
In the Under 9 Champions Cup, Cayman Prep continued their dominance with a 4-0 defeat of St. Ignatius Prep following an Aaron Jarvis hat-trick and in doing so, secured the number one ranking. Sir John A. Cumber Primary defeated NorthEast Schools 3-0 to earn the number two seed. A steadily improving South Sound Schools secured the number three spot with a 4-1 victory over Savannah Primary and Grace Academy became the number four ranking following a 2-2 draw with Bodden Town Primary.
The semis will see Cayman Prep face Grace Academy and Sir John A. Cumber Primary play South Sound Schools.
In the Under 11 Consolation Cup, Bodden Town Primary had already secured a semi-final spot as the number one seed two weeks ago. The Bodden Towners will face fourth-seeded Savannah Primary who lost 6-0 to an inspired NorthEast Schools. NorthEast Schools secured the number three slot with this lop-sided victory and will face Prospect Primary in the semis following Prospect’s narrow 3-2 victory over Cayman International School.
In the Under 11 Champions Cup, both Sir John A. Cumber Primary and George Town Primary had already secured their places in the semi-finals with wins two weeks ago but results from this past Saturday would determine the number one and two ranking.
George Town Primary began proceedings with 4-1 victory over Cayman Prep only to see Sir John A. Cumber Primary defeat Red Bay Primary 2-0 and ultimately grab top spot with George Town Primary settling for the number two ranking.
The number three spot went to Truth For Youth who defeated Grace Academy 3-1 and although losing earlier to George Town Primary, Cayman Prep secured the number four ranking. In the other division game, Triple C and St. Ignatius Prep battled to a 2-2 draw.
The semi-finals will see top seeded Sir John A. Cumber Primary take on Cayman Prep with George Town Primary facing Truth For Youth.

The semi finals of the 2011/12 CUC PFL Playoffs are set for this Saturday 28 January with the finals and third-placed games scheduled for Saturday 4 February.
