Football at all levels is getting a lot of exposure at the moment in the Cayman Islands and on Sunday the reserve team players got a chance to capture the limelight as there were no Premier League games before Wednesday’s Digicel Cup final.
The two matches at the TE McField Annex were goalfests with a total of 15. Future drew with North Side in the first game 5-5. Future scorers were Denver Barnes, Paul Brown, Jonny Johnson, Ormond Moore and Tevin Yen. North Side scorers were Gary Mcintosh and a brace each for Jeffrey Miranda and Geovanni Wesley.
The second match was between George Town and Roma United, with gala performances from Lee Ramoon and Neil Murray for GT. George Town Sporting Club scorers were Davelee Cole and Tex Whitelocke who hit a hat-trick as his side won 4-1. Roma United’s was Gregory Brown.
