KPMG take credit

The Ritz-Carlton Corporate Tennis League started its second season last week with some close and exciting matches.

In the first match-up, KPMG beat Bits and Pieces 3-0. Then Tennis Superstars defeated HSBC 2-1 before EFG triumphed 3-0 over Harmonic. In the final match-up, Ogier won 2-1 against PWC.

Thomas Neuert, Ritz-Carlton’s director of tennis, said: “It was great seeing almost everyone in our first week of the Corporate Team Tennis League – Fall Season. It was lots of fun watching everyone compete for their team and/or company.

“We had some real close matches which went down to the last doubles match to be decided. Congratulations to Team KPMG and Team EFG Bank for being the leaders in the respective divisions after Week 1. Unfortunately, both of our Thursday evening scheduled league match-ups from last week had to be postponed due to rain. Ernst & Young vs Deloitte and UBS vs The Ritz-Carlton matches will be re-scheduled.

“We will post weekly pictures from each match-up on our Facebook page.”
