Brooklyn brings the chuckles to Cayman

The latest edition of the Laughter Lounge Comedy Show has a distinctly Noo Yoik flavour.

Three of the iconic US city’s finest comics are coming down on Friday, 1 and Saturday, 2 March to get those ribs well and truly tickled.

To be exact, it’s Dave Chappelle show regular Mike Troy plus AG White and Martin Lawrence, 1st Amendment. You can also get into the mood early with the smooth sounds of Rupert ‘Franky Sinatra’ Ackerman.

Mike Troy is by far one of New York’s most versatile comedians not to mention a worldwide entertainer. Mike has performed stand-up in England, Germany, Japan, Italy and Holland. In the states he’s been seen on two seasons of the Dave Chapelle show; The Dave Attel show; and the Jon Stewart Show on Comedy central. He’s also appeared on Showtime at the Apollo airing on NBC-TV, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, MTV Snaps, VH1’s Hard Rock Live, Fox’s Uptown Comedy Club and the Comedy Factory in Holland.

Have you ever noticed how every ghetto has that one white family that will never move out? AG White’s family is that family.

Born and raised in the East New York section of Brooklyn; one of the Brooklyn’s toughest neighbourhoods, AG is sure to give his audiences a real taste of comedy with a different flavour.

The gigs take place at the Great Room in the Strand Plaza below Elements nightclub and start at 8pm sharp, y’hear?
