I should think that the glow from the top of the nuclear reactor could be used to double as a lighthouse for ships at sea, as well as providing light and heat for outdoor picnics.
The food could be cooked by simply placing it near the reactor for a few minutes until thoroughly cooked.
Perhaps a mutated wildlife park could also be developed in the immediate vicinity and used as a tourist attraction.
